Upon your arrival at Bear Hug you will find it has all the comforts of home and more. With 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms the house can accommodate up to 12 guests. Fresh linens and bath towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped including appliances, dishware, silverware and plenty of pots and pans. For entertainment we have a good selection of movies, board games and books. In addition there is a foosball table, ping pong table, bicycles and for a game of catch you will find a football and a frisbee. Or can just unwind with your favorite beverage out on our large deck over looking the Adirondack woods. If there is something special you need that is not listed please ask and we will make every attempt to accommodate you.



Bring the snowmobiles! Over 200 miles of groomed trails in Warren County alone. 1000's of miles total in the Adirondack park. Bear Hug sits right on the edge of the trail system. Just jump on your sled & go!
Fall in the Adirondacks is spectacular! Reserve during the last two weeks of September for peak season. This is the best time to go on that hiking trip! Or take a scenic hot air balloon ride. Its also apple picking season! mmmm hot apple pie!
Ok so this is not our beach. I just dont have a good photo of it. As soon as summer comes I will take some pictures and get them posted. However we do have a very nice private sandy beach on a pristine sping fed Adirondack Lake
Take the kids fishing on Tripp Lake. The best bite on this lake is usually from 5am-9am. Then you stlll have the rest of the day for other activites or just go back to Bear Hug and take a nap!
Try some cross country skiing or snow shoeing. Our Golf course is excellant in the winter time for these activities!
Bring the rackets! Use of the tennis courts are included in your rental at Bear Hug! We have 10 courts......usually no waiting.
White water rafting at is finest! The region is know as the "White Water Capital of the East" Spring and fall are your best bet!
Come Ski Gore Mountain! Look at the View! Book from Christmas time to end of March for best ski conditions. There is also snow tubing....no skills required.
Guest will enjoy access to private Tripp Lake. Row boats, canoes & paddle boats are all included in your rental!
Green Mansions golf course is right around the corner. This is a USGA rated 9 hole par 36 course. There is also a Bar & Grill on site that is open to the public year round.
